It’s hard to say what to begin with.
I guess it depends on what you’re trying to do. Sometimes it’s lineart, sometimes it’s color spots all around.
The most common sorcery among artist is ancient magick school they call “lots of practice”. It’s dark sorcery that should be despite by every magician, it’s hard to do, sometimes it feels very wrong and you begin to think of other kinds of magick, but “lots of practice” does it’s job.

Started at septemper 2012, but it was crappy stuff like that one
